There are three bases under which we may process your data:
When you sign up to a course/purchase an event ticket/make an enquiry/professional performer contracts etc will ask for your name and email address and we may need to contact you regarding the course/event to disclose details with you and/or cancel.
Legitimate Business Interests
We use your details with regards to Google Analytics (see below) and create in house reports for statistics and this is only seen by the principal.
With your explicit consent
We may need to ask you for your consent for using your data if it does not fit into the category above.
Types of Data we Collect:
When someone visits we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
As part of the registration process for our monthly e-newsletter, we collect personal information. We use that information for a couple of reasons: to send you regular information about House of Trixie Blue, to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information, to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don't rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.
We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing our data protection officer at Info@houseoftrixieblue.co.uk
When enrolled on a course, you will be presented with a registration form to keep you updated on a week by week basis of what is happening in your course. We will ask for various personal details (name, date of birth, email address, permission to add you to our Facebook group), which is only used for the aforementioned reason. We do not share these details with any other company without your consent.
At various events we will ask you to sign up to our mailing list with your first name and email. This will then be transposed to Mail Chimp (see newsletters above).
Security of your Personal Information
We will put in place appropriate safeguards (both in terms of our procedures and the technology we use) to keep your personal information as secure as possible. We will ensure that any third parties we use for processing your personal information do the same.
Access to your Personal Information
You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. Email your request to our data protection officer Kristi Lennon at Info@houseoftrixieblue.co.uk
Your Acceptance of these Terms
